Passport photo size by country

Every specification this site supports, compared in one place — physical size, pixel dimensions, resolution, how much of the frame the head must fill, and the background each authority asks for. Figures come straight from the published specifications, with a link to each authority so you can confirm them yourself.

Head height is measured from the bottom of the chin to the crown. Where an authority prohibits digital alteration, the background must be correct in the original photograph — it cannot be replaced afterwards.
