How to do it properly

Prepare the photo at its official size first
Use the country tool for your document so each copy on the sheet is already correct. The sheet builder tiles what you give it; it cannot fix framing.

Choose the sheet and the number of copies
4×6 inch matches standard kiosk printing. Pick the number of copies your application needs, plus a spare.

Print at 100% scale, no fitting
This is the step that goes wrong. Printer dialogs default to 'fit to page' or 'shrink to fit', which silently resizes every photo on the sheet and makes them all the wrong size. Turn scaling off.
If something goes wrong
My printed photos came out slightly too small
The print dialog scaled the sheet to fit the paper margins. Print at 100% or 'actual size' with borderless printing if your printer offers it.
Can I take this to a photo shop?
Yes. Take the file on a phone or USB stick and ask for a standard 4×6 print, then cut the photos out. Ask them not to auto-crop or auto-enhance.
How many copies should I make?
Whatever the application requires, plus one. Canada and Australia both want two identical prints, and having a spare avoids repeating the whole process if one is damaged or endorsed incorrectly.
